2 ‘drug traders’ killed in Chuadanga

Chuadanga Correspondent: Two ‘drug traders’ were killed in a ‘gunfight’ between the two groups at Gobindahuda village under Damurhuda upazila of the district on Friday midnight.
The deceased were identified as Jhantu, 40, son of Abul Kashem at Isharchandropur under Darshana upazila, and Dhulo, 43, son of Shamser Ali at Charulia village of the upazila.
Officer-in-Charge of Damurhuda Police Station Sukumar Biswas said being informed that two groups of drug traders were exchanging bullets in the area, a team of police went to the spot and recovered two bodies.
Police also recovered one LG, two bullets, six hand bombs and three sacks of Phensidyls from the spot.
Jhantu was a listed criminal and wanted in 11 cases, the OC said.
