Crash with train kills truck driver in Tangail

Staff Correspondent, Tangail: A train has hit a truck at a level-crossing in Kalihati upazila of the district, leaving the truck driver dead and three others injured.
The deceased was identified as Rahmat Ali, 55, son of Abdul Hamid, hailed from Ramdia of Kishoreganj.
Police said that salt laden a lorry collided head-on with a train (Lalmonirhat Express) in Analiabari area of the upazila on Tuesday morning, leaving the lorry driver dead on the spot.
Bangabandhu Bridge East Police Station Officer-in-Charge Mosharraf Hossain confirmed the matter.
