Mobile in exam centre: Actions against 3 teachers

Staff Correspondent, Chattogram: Three teachers have been suspended for their negligence on duties over using mobile phone in SSC examination centre at Hathazari in Chattogram on Tuesday.

Besides, a student has been held while he was attempting to send image of question paper through mobile phone.

Hathazari upazila nirbahi officer (UNO) Ruhul Amin took the steps after conducting a sudden drive in Katirhat High School exam centre on Tuesday.

UNO Ruhul Amin confirmed the news to risingbd.

He said, “The student held was attempting to send photos of question paper. Six more mobile phones were also seized from his possession after searching his body.”

Three teachers were also suspended for their negligence in performing duties in the same room, he added.
