214 Kushtia drug peddlers to surrender today

Kushtia Correspondent: A total of 214 drug peddlers of Kushtia will surrender to Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan today (Monday).

Kushtia district police has completed all the arrangement to hold an anti-drug rally at Kushtia Stadium around 11.00 am.

Awami League Acting General Secretary Mahbub-ul-Alam Hanif and Inspector General of Police (IGP) Mohammad Javed Patwary will also attend the programme.

Auto rickshaw, van, sewing machine and other necessary things will be provided to the surrenders. Drug addicts will be sent to rehab centers to bring them to normal life,  said Kushtia Superintend of Police (SP) Tanvir Arafat.
