Banker, driver killed in Sirajganj car accident

Sirajganj Correspondent: A bank official and driver of his private car were killed as the vehicle fell into a roadside ditch on Hatikumrul-Bonpara Highway in Ullapara upazila of the district on Thursday morning.

The deceased were known as Agrani Bank official Emarul Hossain, 42, son of Abdul Malek, and private car driver Rubel, 45. 

Confirming the matter, Hatikumrul Highway Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Abdul Kader Jilani said, the victims were on way to Faridpur by the car, leaving his in-laws' house in Belkuchi upazila. The car fell into a roadside ditch as the driver had lost control in Horinchora area, leaving Emarul dead on the spot and injured Rubel critically.

Later, injured was sent hospital but he died on the way to hospital.
