College student dies of dengue in Mymensingh

Staff Correspondent, Mymensingh:  A college student has died of dengue fever at Mymensingh Medical College Hospital.

Farhad Hossain died around 11:00am on Sunday.

Deputy Director of the hospital Dr Laxmi Narayan Majumder confirmed this.

He was admitted to the hospital on Saturday night with dengue fever, he said.

Farhad was the student of Itna Degree College.

At least 71 patients were admitted to the hospital in last 24 hours. Currently, 201 patients are undergoing treatment at the hospital.  At least 539 people returned homes after receiving treatment.
