Garment worker’s hanging body found

Savar Correspondent: Police have recovered the hanging body of a female garment worker from Ashulia area of Savar on Tuesday morning.

Saleha Khatun, 27, was found dead at Pabnartek area in Ashulia around 9:00 am.

Sub-inspector (SI) Miraj of Ashulia Police Station said the hanging body of a woman was recovered from a house of Pabnartek area. It is believed that she might have committed suicide due to a family feud.

The body was sent to Shaheed Suhrawardy Medical College and Hospital in Dhaka for autopsy, he said.

Saleha Khatun, daughter of Motaleb, hailed from Doit Gandi village in Chowhali upazila of Sirajganj district. She used to live in a rented house in Dhaka and work at a garment factory.
