Police constable killed in road accident

A police constable was killed in a collision between a bus and a motorcycle at Muksudpur upazila in Gopalganj on Saturday night.

The accident took place near Rogerakhola bridge of Dhaka-Khulna highway.

The deceased is Samrat Biswas, 25, a constable of Dhaka’s Mirpur Thana, and son of Keshab Lal Biswas at Char Paddabila village under Kashiani upazila.

His brother Liton Biswas, 20, was also seriously injured in the road accident.

The accident took when the two brothers were returning home by motorcycle.
