5 in Narayanganj kept in quarantine

At least five people have been kept in quarantine at their own residences in Narayanganj as they came into close contact with two people infected with coronavirus.

Narayanganj Civil Surgeon Dr Mohammad Imteaj said five people including a Chinese citizen have been kept in quarantine at their own residences.

Two Italy returnees of the district are under treatment of Institute of Epidemiology, Disease Control and Research (IEDCR).

Meanwhile, 50-bed unit has been prepared for quarantine in Narayanganj to prevent coronavirus. The unit has been opened in a judicial building on Shaista Khan Road in the city.
