Tangail put under lockdown

The District administration has put the entire Tangail district under lockdown in a bid to contain the spread of the novel coronavirus.

The lockdown came into enforce from 4:00pm on Tuesday.

Special check posts will be set up at different entry ways and important places across the district during the lockdown.

Besides, check posts will be set up around Tangail municipality so that no person or vehicle can enter or exit the town.

The district administration took the decision in a meeting at the circuit house on Tuesday noon.
