4 houses locked down, 31 persons fined in Satkhira

A total 31 persons have been fined for breaching the government instructions to contain coronavirus in Satkhira district.

Mobile courts fined them in different drives from Tuesday morning to night at different places of the district.

Four houses of Debhata upazila have been kept under lockdown as the people of the houses came from Narayanganj district.

About 13 people have been kept under quarantine at Satkhira Juba Bhaban as they came from India through Bhomra landport.

Deputy Commissioner SM Mostafa Kamal said “We are asking people to obey the government instructions and stay at their homes. Administration and public representatives are reaching food items to the people.
