Gaibandha put under lockdown

The local administration has put Gaibandha district under lockdown for independent period in a bid to stem the spread of coronavirus.

The lockdown came into force from 5:00pm on Friday.

Gaibandha deputy commissioner (DC) Abdul Motin confirmed the news.

During the lockdown, no one can leave and enter the district. Emergency services such as medical services, supply chain, etc. will remain out of the purview of the directive.
