Four areas put under lockdown in Tangail

Local administration has locked down four areas of Tangail district as five new coronavirus cases have been reported in the district.

Shabolkura and Zigatola areas of Bhuiyanpur upazila, Khandoria area of Nagarpur upazila and Aronkhola area of Madhupur upazila in the district have been put under lockdown as the new cases have been reported in those areas.

The local administration announced the lockdown for those areas on Sunday (April 12) night.

Dr Mohammad Wahiduzzaman, civil surgeon of Tangail, confirmed the matter to risingbd.
