Child infected with coronavirus dies in Chattogram

A six-year-old child has died after being infected with coronavirus or COVID-19 in Chattogram.

The child passed away at the isolation unit of Chattogram General Hospital on Monday (April 13) morning.

Confirming the matter to risingbd, Chattogram Civil Surgeon Dr Sheikh Fazle Rabbi said with this death, the total number of confirmed coronavirus deaths in the port city stood at two.

House of the deceased child and its adjacent several houses have been put under lockdown, he added.
