Boy with coronavirus symptoms dies in C’nawabganj

A young boy with coronavirus symptoms died in Shibganj upazila of Chapainawabganj district.

The boy died on way to Chapainawabganj sadar hospital around 8 pm yesterday (April 12).

Following the death, the local administration has announced lockdown for Bagharpara village where the boy lived and asked the family members of the deceased to remain in home quarantine.

Confirming the matter to risingbd,  Chapainawabganj Civil Surgeon Dr Jahid Nazrul Chowdhury said the boy had been suffering from fever, cold and diarrhoea for several days.

His blood sample was collected to know whether he was infected with coronavirus or not, he said.
