Two more detected with coronavirus positive in Nilphamari

Two more new cases of coronavirus have been confirmed in Nilphamari.

District Civil Surgeon Dr Ranajit Kumar Barman confirmed the news on Sunday evening.

He said two more persons have been detected with coronavirus positive after testing samples at Dinajpur M Rahim Medical College and Hospital lab. Of them, one is of Khogakhoribari union under Dimla upazila while other is of Putimari union of Kishoriganj upazila. District health division collected their samples after they returned home on April 28.

With this, the total number of coronavirus infected people in the district climbed to 23. Of them, 14 patients are undergoing treatment at the isolation ward of Nilphamari general hospital.
