Awami Leader hacked in Natore

A local Awami League leader has been hacked by his rivals at Naldanga upazila in Natore district.

The victim is Yusub Ali Tutul, 42, son of Mizanur Rahman at Dhamonpara village of the upazila.

He was immediately taken to Natore Sadar Hospital, and later he was shifted to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital for better treatment.

According to police and locals, Tutul was sitting on the ground of Dhamonpara Govt Primary School and around 9,00pm on Monday miscreants attacked him, leaving him critically injured.

Officer-in-charge of Naldanga Thana confirmed the matter.
