3 killed in Cox’s Bazar ‘gunfight’

Three suspected drug traders have been killed in a ‘gunfight’ with police in Rangokhali hilly area under Teknaf upazila of Cox’s Bazar.

The gunfight took place on Wednesday morning.

Officer-in-Charge of Teknaf Thana Prodip Kumar Das confirmed the matter.

Police also recovered 18 native weapons, 200 bullets and 55,000 yaba pills from the spot, he said.

The bodies have been sent to Cox’s Bazar Sadar Hospital for autopsy.
