50 new coronavirus patients detected in N'ganj

50 new coronavirus patients have been detected in Narayanganj, raising the total number of confirmed cases in the district to 1,123.

Dr Jahidul Islam, civil surgeon of the district, confirmed the matter on Wednesday (May 6).

50 people have been found to be infected newly with coronavirus in last 24 hours in Narayanganj, raising the total cases in the district 1,123, the civil surgeon said.

No death case has been reported in the district within this period, he added.
