OC among 12 newly infected with virus in Tangail

12 more people including an Officer-in-Charge (OC) have been infected with coronavirus in Tangail that brings the infected number of the district to 44.

District civil surgeon Dr. Md Wahiduzzaman confirmed that on Thursday noon.

The civil surgeon said that he was informed about 12 more infections of COVID-19 in the district by IEDCR.

A total of 285 samples were sent to the IEDCR in last three days, of which results of 120 samples have come that shows that 12 have tested positive for coronavirus.

Newly-infected persons are two including an OC at Gopalpur, three at Dhanbari, one at Bhuapur, two at Kalihati, two at Delduar and two at Mirzapur.
