Man collapses and dies just after having sneeze!

A man has collapsed and died just after having a single sneeze at Shibchar upazila in Madaripur.

The incident took place at Kadirabazar of the upazila around 11:00am on Monday.

The man was known as Babul Mia, a resident of Tekerhat of Rajoir upazila of the district.

Locals and witnesses, “Babul Mia was heading towards Dhaka from Rajoir for treatment as he was suffering from shortness of breath. He got on an easy bike, a battery-run auto-rickshaw, to reach Kathalbari ghat. On the way at Kadirabazar area, he asked the driver to stop the vehicle and got down immediately. He went away on the roadside. There, he had a sneeze and collapsed to death.

Abul Kalam Azad, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Shibchar Police Station, confirmed the news.

He said police members were sent to the spot. The body would be taken to Tekerhat after relatives of the dead reached. There, local health department and administration will take the further steps.
