Corona-infected man who went into hiding held

A man, who was detected with positive for coronavirus and went into hiding in Manikganj, has been held.
He was detained from the capital’s Gabtaliarea on Tuesday morning and after that Saturiaupazila administration admitted him to Manikganjsadar hospital.
SaturiaUpazilaNirbahi Officer (UNO) AshrafulAlam confirmed the matter.
The man, who was detected with positive for coronavirus, went into hiding on Monday. He is a resident of Khalilabad village under Saturiaupazilain Manikganj.
The UNO said “The coronavirus-infected person used to work at a fruit shop in Dhaka. He returned home on May 9. His sample was collected on Sunday and sent it Savar for coronavirus test. On Monday morning, the report confirmed of his being infected with the virus.”
The UNO said “After receiving the report, we went to his house, but did not find him. Family members said he went to a relative’s house in the neighbouring village Munshichar. He was not found there as well. He fled the village too. Later, house of the people came to his contacts was put under lockdown.”
