Two more persons died of coronavirus infection in the last 24 hours, taking the number of deaths to 59 in Narayanganj district.
Besides, 38 more people tested positive for Covid-19 over the same period, raising the total number of confirmed cases to 1,413.
Website of Narayanganj Civil Surgeon Office disclosed the information on Wednesday.
Narayanganj Police Super said at least 97 police personnel have so far been infected with coronavirus.
