14 new coronavirus cases reported in Tangail

Fourteen more people have tested positive for coronavirus or COVID-19 in Tangail, raising the total number of confirmed cases in the district to 266.

Besides, one more person has died of the deadly virus while undergoing treatment at Dhaka Medical College Hospital, bringing the total deaths to six in the district.

Of those infected originally, 76 patients have recovered so far in the district.

Dr Md Wahiduzzaman, civil surgeon of Tangail, came up with the information on Tuesday (June 9) morning.
