Security tightened on Satkhira border to hold Regent’s Sahed

Law enforcement agencies have tightened security measures on Satkhira border to nab Sahed Karim, chairman of Regent Hospital Ltd.

Law enforcers are on high alert so that Sahed cannot flee the country through Satkhira border.

Md Mostafizur Rahman, Superintendent of Police (SP) in Satkhira, confirmed this on Tuesday (July 14) noon.

He said, ‘District police launched searching different vehicles on border area. Apart from this, BGB also intensified its patrol on the border.’

Senior ASP, also RAB-6 Satkhira camp commander, said intelligence surveillance has been tightened. Suspected microbuses and private cars are being searched. Operation is being conducted so that Saheld cannot manage to flee the country anyhow.
