Fire at Rangpur jute godown

A fire broke out at a jute godown at Shathibari of Mithapukur upazila in Rangpur on Monday morning.

The fire broke out around 10.00am. Initially, the case of the fire could not be known.

Later, seven fire fighting units brought the fire under control within an effort of two hours.

Duty officer of Rangpur Fire Service Samsuzzoha confirmed the news.

He said an investigation is going on to know the cause of the fire.
