CHUADANGA, Oct 13: Islami Chhatra Shibir enforced a half-day hartal in four districts of Khulna division- Chuadanga, Jhenidah, Meherpur and Kushtia- on Sunday.
Shibir, the student wing of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami, called the hartal protesting the killing of one of its activists in police firing in Chuadanga on Thursday.
Shibir man Rafiqul Islam, 22, was killed and two others were injured in a clash with policemen at Darshana in Damurhuda upazila of Chuadanga on Thursday.
