Former MP Khaledur Rahman Tito no more

Veteran politician former lawmaker Khaledur Rahman Tito has passed away. He was 76.

He breathed his last while undergoing treatment at the Combined Military Hospital (CMH) in Jashore at 1:20 pm on Sunday (January 10).

His elder son Mashuk Hassan Joy confirmed the death.

He said, “He was put in life support as his physical condition deteriorated around 10:00 am.”

“Arrangements are being made to take the body to the house of Sashtitolapar,” he added.

His other son Advocate Khalid Hassan Zeus said, “His father was admitted to the CMH in Jashore three days ago as he wa suffering from lung infection. Today (January 10), he was kept in life support.”

He will be buried at Karbala after the Namaz-e-Janaza to be held at Jashore Eidgah after Juhr prayer on Monday (January 11).
