Petrol bomb attack in Nabiganj: Ex-MP among 17 sued

A case has been filed for a petrol bomb attack at a campaign of Awami League mayoral candidate Golam Rasul Chowdhury Rahel at Nabiganj in Habiganj.

Upazila Chhatra League President Shah Faisal Talukder filed a case with Nabiganj Police Station on Monday afternoon.

In the case, the names of 17 people including former MP of Habiganj-1 constituency and former vice-president of district BNP Sheikh Sujat Mia have been mentioned, and some unknown people have also been mentioned as accused.

Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Nabiganj Thana Md Azizur Rahman confirmed the news.

He said a man named Makbul Hossain had been arrested in the case. Efforts are underway to arrest the other accused.
