Losing key: Sirajganj Express train delays 3 hours

The Dhaka-bound Sirajganj Express train left the station after three hours as the key of the train was lost.

Hundreds of passengers of the train faced untold sufferings due to delay of the train.

Haji Afzal Hossain, driver of the train, confirmed the matter at 11:30 am on Monday (February 22).

Haji Afzal Hossain said the Sirajganj Express train stays at Sirajganj station. The train leaves for Dhaka at 6.00 am every day. But on Monday morning, the driver went to run the engine and saw that the key of the train was lost. Due to this, after bringing another engine from Ishwardi, the train left around 9.00 am. However, it is being investigated how it happened.
