Transport crisis in Savar, garment workers block road

Garment workers blocked the highway in Savar on Monday morning in protest against public transport crisis and taking extra fares.

Workers of various garment factories blocked the Dhaka-Aricha highway in Radio Colony area around 8.00am on Monday (June 26).

Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Savar Highway Thana Sajjad Karim Khan confirmed the news.

Garment workers blocked the highway about one hours, he also said.
