Rail links with Khulna restored after 11 hours

Rail links of Khulna with across the country have been restored after an 11-hour disruption.
Rail communications between Khulna and the rest of the country resumed on Monday noon.
Md. Mujibur Rahman, area operating manager of Khulna, confirmed the news.
Khulna’s rail links with rest of the country were snapped after five oil tank wagons of a train derailed in Uthali of Jibannagar upazila in Chudanga on Sunday midnight. Five bogies of Natore-bound train from Khulna veered off the tracks around 12:40pm.
A rescue train from Ishwardi reached the spot around 7.30am on Monday.
