Biman launches direct flight on Saidpur-Cox`s Bazar route

Biman Bangladesh Airlines started operation of direct flight between northwestern Saidpur and beach city Cox’s Bazar for the first time.

Rail Minister Nurul Islam Sujan inaugurated the flight at 10:00am on Thursday (October 7).

Two flights continue in the route. One flight will depart directly from Saidpur to Cox's Bazar every Thursday at 9:20 am while another one will depart from Cox's Bazar to Saidpur Airport at 1:25 pm every Saturday.

State Minister for Civil Aviation and Tourism Mahbub Ali joined the inaugural program as the chief guest while Nilphamari-2 constituency lawmaker Asaduzzaman Nur attended the function.
