8 more die at Mymensingh hospital Covid unit

A total of eight people have died from coronavirus and coronavirus-like symptoms at the Covid-19 unit of Mymensingh Medical College and Hospital (MMCH) in the past 24 hours.

The deaths were reported in the last 24 hours starting from 8:00am on Thursday (Oct 7) to 8:00am today, Friday (Oct 8).

Dr Mohiuddin Khan Moon, focal person of the Covid unit, confirmed the news.

Among the deaths, one died from coronavirus and seven from coronavirus-like symptoms.

Besides, some 13 people tested positive for the virus over the same period, he said.
