Section 144 in Cox’s Bazar: BNP tries to make gathering

The Cox’s Bazar administration imposed section 144 in Cox’s Bazar town to prevent any untoward incident as BNP and Juba League called rallies at the same venue on Monday (January 03).

BNP leaders and activists tried to make a gathering around 8.00am in Eidgah Maidan in the town.

Being informed, a police team led by Cox’s Bazar Addition Police Super Rafiqul Islam reached there and foiled their efforts.

The restriction will continue till Tuesday (January 04) dawn.
