Dhaka-Tangail-Bangabandhu Bridge highway congestion free

The movement of traffic on the Dhaka-Tangail-Bangabandhu Bridge highway was normal on Monday (May 2).
Till morning, no point of the highway witnessed traffic congestion. The numbers of vehicles are less in the route.
Elenga Highway police outpost in-charge Md Atowar Rahman said, the pressure of homebound people and vehicles on the highway has been decreasing since Sunday noon.
The traffic pressure was even less than normal and homeward bound people were travelling with ease, he added.
However, even at the last moment, many are returning home on Eid holidays from Dhaka. Although it is much less than the last two days. There are comparative vehicles on the road to the capital’s Kamalapur and Airport Station, Gabtoli and Sayedabad bus terminals. Though, it is much less than usual.
