Four killed in clash over establishing supremacy

At least four people were killed and 15 others were injured in a clash between two groups of Awami League (AL) over establishing supremacy at Sadar upazila in Kushtia.
The incident took place between supporters of Keramat Group and Fazlu Group and at Astanagar village of the upazila on Monday (May 02) evening.
The deceased were known as Kashem, 50, son of late Hossain Ali, Laltu, 30, son of Dadi Mondal, Abdur Rahim, 50, son of Abul Malitha, and Motiar Rahman, 40, son of Afzal Mondal. Identities of injured could not be known immediately.
Kushtia Model Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Sabbirul Islam confirmed the matter.
He said, “Police have been sent to the spot. Details would be revealed later.”
