Two killed in Faridpur clash over establishing supremacy

Two people were killed and 10 others were injured in a clash between two groups over establishing supremacy at Gohailbari Bazar under Boalmari upazila in Faridpur on Tuesday (May 03).
The incident was confirmed by Boalmari Police Station.
The deceased were known as jute trader Akidul Islam and farmer Khairul Sheikh. They both are residents of Char Daitorkathi village of the area.
According to locals, the two groups had a long dispute over establishing supremacy in the area. As a sequel to that, they locked into a clash on Tuesday, leaving two dead.
