Chattogram shoe factory fire under control

A fire that broke out at a shoe factory in East Madarbari area of Chattogram has been brought under control.

On information, six firefighting units rushed to the spot and brought the blaze under control at 7:25am on Wednesday (June 8).

The fire originated at around 5:45 am.

Anisur Rahman, deputy assistant director of the Chattogram fire service, confirmed the development to risingbd.

The reason behind the fire and casualty could not be known immediately.
