Youth stabbed dead in Patia

A young was stabbed to death in Kolgaon Union of Patia Upazila of Chattogram due to a quarrel over a trifling matter.

The incident took place on Sunday (October 2) morning. 

The deceased was known as Fahim, 22.

A youth named Roni, 18, has been arrested for his alleged involvement in the murder.

According to police, Fahim was sitting in his sister-in-law’s shop on Sunday morning. At that time, Roni suddenly stabbed Fahim and ran away. Initially, it was reported that the incident took place over a trivial incident.

Police Inspector (Investigation) of Patia Police Station Rashedul Islam said, “The body has been recovered and sent to the Chittagong Medical College Hospital (CMCH) morgue for autopsy.”
