Six killed in bus-microbus collision in Tangail

At least six people were killed and many others injured in a collision between a passenger bus and a microbus on Thursday (October 6).
The deceased could not be identified immediately.
The incident took place around 12:30 pm in the Gol Chakkar area of the Dhaka-Tangail-Bangabandhu Bridge Highway.
According to local sources, as the driver lost control of the steering, the passenger bus hit the microbus, leaving three people dead on the spot and many others injured.
The injured were rushed to Tangail Sadar hospital where duty doctor declared another three people dead.
