Voluntary organisation continues tree plantation programme

Durbar Tarunno, a social and voluntary organisation, has continued its tree plantation programme under its ‘Amra Mali’ (we are gardeners) project.

The third phase of the project was completed through planting over 100 saplings in DC hill area of Chattogram on Friday (October 7).

Presided over by Muhammad Abu Abid, the founder of ‘Durbar Tarunno,’ the event was graced by Helal Akbar Chowdhury Babar, the innovator of the country’s lone corona prevention booth, as the chief guest.

Helal Akbar Chowdhury Babar said to face the environment problems, there is no alternative to tree plantation.

Juba League leader Shibu Prosad Chowdhury, General Secretary of Durbar Tarunno Mohammad Abu Adil, Organizing Secretary Md. Jihadul Islam, executive members Md. Abul Hasan and Kamrul Islam, district and local leaders and local dignitaries were present at that time.
