Teknaf-St Martin ship service suspended

The inclement weather halted all naval movement in the Teknaf-St Martin's route including the ship transportation to the island.
The district administration’s Executive Magistrate (Tourism cell) Md Masum Billah confirmed the matter on Sunday (October 23).
He said, the last ship left the island for Cox’s Bazar at 2:50pm. No passenger-ships will move in the route till next announcement.
Tofayel Ahmed, president of Sea Cruise Operators Owners Association of Bangladesh said the if the weather is favorable, the naval movement on the St. Martin route will begin again.
