EX-BNP lawmaker Shajahan Khan dies

BNP leader Shajahan Khan, who was attacked by miscreants on his way to the party’s divisional rally in Gabua of Patuakhali, has died.

He breathed his last around 10.00am on Monday while undergoing treatment at Labaid Hospital in the city.

He was 70 years.

Shajahan Khan was the lawmaker from Patuakhali-3 constituency and a convener of district BNP.

General Secretary of Galachipa Upazila BNP Abdus Sattar Hawlader confirmed the news.

Miscreants attacked BNP men including Shajahan Khan when they were going to Barishal to attend the divisional rally.

Shajahan Khan was admitted to a Patuakhali hospital, later he was shifted to Dhaka Labaid Hospital for better treatment.
