BRRI introduces 3 new rice varieties

Three more new varieties of rice developed by the Bangladesh Rice Research Institute (BRRI) have received approval from the National Seed Board.
The approval was given in the 108th meeting of the National Seed Board on Monday (December 26).
These three-premium quality of rice are BRRI Rice-103, a variety of Aman, BRRI Rice-104, and BRRI Hybrid Rice-8, variety of Boro season.
Md. Sayedul Islam, President of the National Seed Board and Secretary of the Ministry of Agriculture presided over the meeting at the conference room of the agriculture ministry.
Bangladesh Rice Research Institute (BRI) Director General Dr. Md. Shahjahan Kabir along with heads of various departments and organizations of the ministry attended the program.
