Two killed in Rajshahi road crash

Two people were killed when a motorcycle hit a three-wheeler van in Charghat upazila of Rajshahi on Wednesday (December 28).

The deceased were known as Mazdar Rahman, 55, hailed from Bagha upazila, and Siam Ali, 18, son of Bulbul Ali.

Charghat police station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Mahbubul Alam said that van driver Mazdar was heading towards the local town area around 8:00am. Meanwhile, his three-wheeler van collided with a motorcycle in Baduria Badal intersection, leaving Mazdar dead on the spot and injured critically the biker.

Later, the critically biker was sent to Rajshahi Medical College hospital where he died under treatment.
