3 held with 14 kg hemp in Gaibandha

Police have arrested three drug dealers along with 14 kg of hemp from Fasitola bazar area in Gobindaganj upazila of Gaibandha.

They were arrested from Fasitola bazar area of the upazila on Dhaka-Rangpur highway on Monday (January 2).

A pickup used to transport the drugs was also seized.

The arrestees are Nazrul Islam, 40, son of late Ansar Ali; Limon Mia, 26, son of Abul Hossain and Milon Mia, 26, son of Nur Alam.

Aminul Islam, officer-in-charge (OC) of Gobindaganj Police Station, said a case was filed at the police station against them.
