5 ARSA members detained in Cox’s Bazar

Armed Police Battalion (APBn) has arrested five suspected Arakan Rohingya Salvation Army (ARSA) members including its Group Commander Dr Rafiq.

Members of APBn-8 and APBn-14 arrested them from a Rohingya camp in Ukhiya of Cox's Bazar.The arrested men are Dr Rfiq, 54, Mohammad

Rafiq, 20, Md Rafik, 21, Nurul Amin, 34, and Khairul Amin, 32.

Senior Assistant Director of RAB-15 Md Abu Salam Chowdhury confirmed the news on Monday.

They have been sent to Ukhiya Thana for taking a legal action, he said.
