Three killed in Lohagara road crash

At least three people were killed and four were injured in a collision between a bus and a leguna, human hauler, in Lohagara of Chattogram-Cox’s Bazar highway on Saturday morning.

The accident took place around 10.00am in Jangalia area under Chunti union of Chattogram’s Lohagara upazila.

The deceased are Nazrul Islam, 34, from Cox’s Bazar's Chakaria, Md Hamidullah, 29, and Jahangir Alam, 25.

Lohagara Fire Service Station Officer Rubel Alam said a Cox’s Bazar-bound collided with a leguna, leaving three dead on the spot.

The injured have been admitted to different hospitals.
