Stolen kid found at abandoned bag

A child aged two and a half months that was stolen from Bagerhat has been rescued from an abandoned bag left beside the road at Miapara of Khulna city.

Police rescued Sajid Hasan Faraji on Friday (March 17) night.

Chief Coordinator Inspector of Bagerhat district police media cell SM Ashraful Alam confirmed the incident.

Those who are involved in stealing the child will be identified and brought under the purview of law, he said. 

Earlier at dawn of the same, the child was stolen from the house of couple Abu Syed Faraji and Sumi Khatun at Jaria-Mite Kumra area of Fakirhat upazila of the district.
